COUNTY OF DELAWARE In 2018, the Planning Department (DCPD) received a grant from the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR) to prepare a feasibility study for the Media-Smedley Connector Trail Feasibility Study. It is proposed to connect to a trailhead within Smedley County Park in Nether Providence and Springfield Townships to the Borough of Media and Upper Providence and Middletown Township's Mineral Hill Area parks, specifically to Scott Park in Upper Providence. Although most of the plan will be prepared in-house, the County is seeking technical assistance from a consulting firm for specific tasks in support of the project for a cost not to exceed $25,000.
